Earlier this year, NCBI announced a big change in the way users log into NCBI resources (MyNCBI, SciENcv, or MyBibliography, etc.) If you created your own NCBI account in the past, you will have to switch to a new method of authentication. NCBI accounts will no longer be accessible after June 1, 2021.
The good news is that you have a variety of different login options to choose from, including eRA Commons, ORCiD, Google, Login.gov, and your Einstein AD credentials.

In any NCBI database, such as PubMed, click the Sign in link on the upper right of the page. On the next screen, click New Here? Sign up.
After you set up an account, you can customize your My NCBI page and set preferences.
