Sharing your library in EndNote

• You must have EndNote X8 or higher
• You can share your EndNote library with over100 other EndNote users
• The people you share with will have full read/write access to your entire EndNote library
• It is easy to stop sharing your library

To share your EndNote library

1. Make sure Sync is enabled for your EndNote library
   1. Windows: Edit > Preferences > Sync
   2. Mac: EndNote  > Preferences > Sync
2. Go to File > Share
3. Enter the email addresses of the people with whom you'd like to share your library
4. Add an optional message to the EndNote email invitation
5. Click Invite

To stop sharing your EndNote library

1. Go to File > Share
2. Click the gear icon to the right of the name of the person with whom you no longer wish to share your library
3. Click Remove
