Document the Search Strategy

The librarian who did the search should write the methods section describing the search strategy. This should include:
  • For every database, include database, platform or provider
  • Search terms
  • Start and end date for search of each database
  • Grey literature
  • Cited reference searching
According to the PRISMA standards, the full search strategy for at least one database, including limits used, such that it could be repeated, should be included.
