The Library is currently hosting a new traveling exhibit from the National Library of Medicine, “And there’s the humor of it”: Shakespeare and the four humors, on display until May 13, 2016. The exhibit explores the role played in a person’s physical and mental health by the four humors – blood, bile, melancholy, and phlegm - in several of Shakespeare’s most beloved plays and examines more modern interpretations of the four humors in contemporary medicine.
To celebrate the opening of the exhibit, the Library hosted a celebration on Thursday, April 7, where students were able to view the exhibit and join the librarians for refreshments and conversation about the exhibit.
