APA Databases

PsycInfo (Ovid)
Index of scholarly literature in the psychological, social, behavioral, and health sciences. Journal articles, books, book chapters, technical reports, and dissertations are covered. Indexes more than 2,400 journals and extends from the 1800s to the present. Links to full-text of articles from journals the library subscribes to are included.

PsycBooks (Ovid)
Full text of scholarly book titles published by the APA in PDF. 2,011 scholarly books and 30,446 chapters are included in the database, including out-of-print books and classic resources.

PsycTests (Ovid)
PsycTESTS® provides access to psychological tests, measures, scales, surveys, and other assessments as well as descriptive information about the test and its development and administration.

PsycTherapy (Ovid)
A database of streaming psychotherapy demonstration videos; users may create playlists, clips, search transcripts of videos, and more.

ERIC (Education Resources Information Center)
Abstracts of documents on education research and practice from 1965-present. ERIC abstracts cover journal articles, books, conference papers, reports, and related materials.
UserID and password required from off-campus
HaPI (Health and Psychosocial Instruments)
Index of journal articles on measurement instruments in psychosocial sciences from 1985-present.
The instruments themselves are not included. However, HaPI can be used to locate ordering information for a known instrument. User ID and password required off-campus.
Medline (Ovid)
MEDLINE is produced by the National Library of Medicine and covers the international literature on biomedicine, including allied health and biological and physical sciences, from over 4,000 journals.
Mental Measurements Yearbook (Ovid)
Full-text information about and reviews of English-language standardized tests as included in the printed Mental Measurements Yearbooks from the Buros Institute.
