Library Resolutions

Welcome to Week 3!

This week we will focus on ways for you to get faster and smoother access to full-text.

Monday: EndNote Click

EndNote Click (formerly Kopernio)is a browser extension which allows users to access article PDFs from databases such as PubMed. When EndNote Click is activated, citations in PubMed, Web of Science, and other databases will display links to download PDFs (if available). When EndNote Click can’t find a PDF, it will offer other access options, including interlibrary loan. Save articles to read later in your Kopernio Locker (up to 100MB).

To learn more, see our EndNote Click research guide.

Tuesday: BrowZine

BrowZine is a mobile app for Libraries that lets you browse, read, and monitor your favorite journals with your web browser or from your Apple or Android device!

To get started, search for BrowZine in your device’s app store, download the free app, and then select Albert Einstein College of Medicine from the list of institutions.

Wednesday: LibKey Nomad

LibKey Nomad is a web browser extension from the producers of BrowZine that provides single click access to the Library's content from PubMed, publisher websites, and Wikipedia. LibKey Nomad can be used from on- or off campus. LibKey Nomad currently works with the Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Firefox, and Brave web browsers. Support for Safari should be coming soon. Find your browser's app store.

To learn more about BrowZine and LibKey Nomad, see our BrowZine guide.

Thursday: PM/DOI Lookup Tools

2) The Einstein e-Journal portal also provides PMID and DOI lookup, in addition to a Citation Linker, and options for browsing journals by title
